At Black Hound, we take great care to ensure your order is shipped quickly and arrives safely. Please take a moment to review our shipping policy below

Key Shipping Information

  • Processing: 3-7 business days before dispatch.
  • Delivery Australia: 7-14 business days once collected.
  • Delivery New Zealand: Timeframes vary depending on location.
  • Costs: Calculated at checkout.
  • Carriers: Allied Express and Australia Post (domestic), Fedex (New Zealand).

Processing and Dispatch

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and booked for dispatch within 3-7 business days after being received.
  • Carrier Pickup: Once booked, your items are collected by our carrier within 3-7 business days.
  • Tracking: Once your order is processed, you will receive a tracking number via email. Please allow up to 7 business days to receive your tracking number. Your tracking number will only become active once your parcel has been collected and scanned by the carrier. You will need both your tracking number and delivery postcode to track your order.

Australian Shipping

  • Carriers: We use Allied Express and Australia Post for domestic deliveries. We cannot send large items to PO Box numbers.
  • Delivery Timeframe: While we are unable to guarantee exact delivery times, shipping across Australia typically takes 7-14 business days once collected.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping charges are calculated at checkout.
  • Inspection: Please check your order for damage or missing items before signing for it.

New Zealand Shipping

  • Processing Time: International orders follow the same 3-7 business day
    processing period as domestic orders.
  • Delivery Area: We ship products across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Shipping Costs: Individuals shipping to NZ will need to get in touch for a shipping quote.
  • Import Duties and Taxes: Any customs duties, import taxes, or fees levied by your government are the responsibility of the purchaser and are not included in our shipping cost.

Customer Responsibilities

  •  Inspection on Delivery: Customers must inspect deliveries for completeness and damage before signing.
  • Damaged or Incomplete Orders: If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please refuse the delivery and contact Black Hound immediately.
  • Returns: Any returns must be pre-authorised by Black Hound. Products must be returned in their original, unopened packaging (including the outer shipping container) to prevent damage during transit. Unauthorised returns may be declined. Black Hound does not accept returns of VarioCages or VarioGates.
